Earlier in the week I had a bit of time in between appointments, so decided to take Pepe to Bayfront Park on Longboat Key. I admittedly do not take as much time as I should to explore all the amazing parks our area has to offer.
Some of the amenities found at Bayfront Park Recreation Center are a 1,350 square foot activity room, basketball court, shuffleboard courts, picnic tables, playgrounds, a multi-purpose ball field for soccer and softball, and pickle-ball and tennis courts. There is also a dog park on the premises, which was my main reason for stopping by.
I then did a quick stop by Bird Key Park, which features Bicycles Trails, Canoe Launch, fishing pier, hiking trails, a pet friendly park, picnic facilities and more.
Local to the area? Make a point to explore more that our area has to offer. We live in paradise and many of us get in the routine of taking our amazing area for granted.
